Great little cafe. The soups are always delicious, and I highly recommend the sourdough bread when getting a sandwich. It's so airy and fluffy. Service is usually fast. Never had a complaint about this place and service is friendly every time. A great place to get a quick bite to eat without feeling like you stuffed yourself. Give it a try!

First time here we found this little place online and decided to give it a try. I got the flight which was really good. The butter pecan steamer didn't have a whole lot of flavor but the others were really good. We got the soup flight as well and all four were really good the flavors we got will be in the pictures. The reason for the 4 star on good was we got the three cheese grilled cheese and the crust was super hard. Had to soak it in the soup to eat the crust. The flavor of the sandwich was good besides the crust. The ladies at the register were super nice and kind and showed us all the flight and specials. They were knowledgeable about the products. We will be back. We need of of these up in West Akron

This place was really great! We went at noon on a Sunday and they were VERY busy - a line out the door the entire time! They were well worth the wait though. The food was delicious and the drinks were fabulous. They have a ton of gluten free options and are very knowledgeable about what is GF. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming despite being incredibly busy. We sat and chatted while we waited for our orders to be ready. The only downside is that they call your name every time an item is ready, not all at once so you have to really be paying attention but that's really not an inconvenience at all just something a first time visitor needs to know. I really liked the atmosphere and experience. I would recommend this place and we'll definitely be back!

This place was so cute. We made the trip after seeing the coffee and soup flight menu. My favorite soup was their tomato and my favorite coffee was the peppermint rimmed one. The space is cute and very popular - I see why. Thank you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this small business on the historic Medina Square. One of the only coffee shops where I can get raspberry The BEST chicken salad sandwiches around. And their cookies are huge! Always supportive of local events. Staff is friendly and I almost always bump into a friend here!

A great place to get hot and cold drinks. An equally great place to get food from a surprisingly expansive menu. A wonderful staff that knows the offerings inside and out. Very cute decorations and lots of seating. The homemade chip dip is outstanding. Stop in to one of your new favorite places.

This was a great stop after our tour of Castle Noel and is within walking distance. The place was all decked out for Christmas. My wife and I had the hot cocoa flight, which all had completely different tastes that were authentic to the flavor. For instance, the gingerbread cocoa was dramatically different from the peppermint. If you got to most places, the toppings will be different, but the cocoa will taste the same. My wife really loved the chili. I got the club sub, and it was very large. The oatmeal cookie was a little dry for my tastes, but oatmeal cookie recipes can be completely different. The vibe of the place was very fun. The place was packed at 1 on a weekday, so people must love it.

With a reputation built on friendly service and fantastic food, Cool Beans Café stands out as a must-visit for both locals and newcomers alike.

Step inside, and you’re greeted by the inviting aromas of freshly brewed coffee and homemade dishes. The menu boasts an enticing mix of all-day options including soups, salads, and hot-off-the-grill items, perfect for any palate. For a hearty meal, I highly recommend the Amazing Taco Salad, featuring crisp leaf lettuce topped with Whitey’s chili, cheddar, and served with a zesty sour cream and salsa. If you’re in the mood for something lighter, the Homestead Salad is a colorful blend of greens, chicken, and freshly made croutons, drizzled with buttermilk ranch dressing.

One standout option is the Soup & Scoop, which pairs a generous scoop of their famous Cranberry Chicken Salad with a warm bowl of soup, depicting the café’s commitment to quality and taste. Customer reviews echo this sentiment, with Jason Carroll praising the delicious soups and airy, fluffy sourdough bread that accompanies their sandwiches.

For those craving a grilled treat, don’t miss the Avocado BLT or the Cuban, both of which are grilled to perfection on sourdough bread. Each bite is packed with flavor, creating a delightful culinary experience. The Jailhouse Flatbread is another fan favorite, combining grilled chicken and spicy ranch for a hearty kick.

The cozy atmosphere contributes to the café’s charm, making it a welcoming place to relax with friends or meet new ones. Customers like Taylor Orvosh appreciate the bustling vibe, even mentioning that the wait is well worth it when the food arrives. The staff is known for their friendliness and expertise, offering detailed insights into gluten-free options and specials of the day.
